Sugarmillers, Inc. is a non-profit organization formed to provide for the morale and welfare of Veterans who served in South Vietnam with Military Assistance Team - Vietnam and risked their lives and limbs every day for a year or more. These brave men who sacrificed so much to serve their country were welcomed home by people who did not understand the nature of their service or how much they had sacrificed during their tour of duty. The politicians and news media had abandoned them and many people jumped on the bandwagon of the ill-informed.
In a recent welcome home ceremony in Kissimmee, FL we concluded that our purpose from now forward shall be to educate the American people, especially the children, about our service, our sacrifices and our experiences. To provide education and morale support to the Vietnam War Veterans who served with honor with Military Assistance Command - Vietnam. And provide support to disabled war veterans who served honorably in a combat situation.
